While it's going to be technically true that if you take away the padded insert bag from the roller bag, you'd then be able to forceably shoe-horn a 17"" laptop into the roller bag. What is overlooked of the outline is that the incontrovertible fact that the roller bag wouldn't provide any protection to my terribly expensive 17"" laptop. really the work is therefore tight that the zipper closurers can scratch the laptop if you tried to force the zipper to shut. I gave the bag a one-star rating for the 17"" false description, otherwise the bag seems to be a well created roller bag that may work nicely for a smaller laptop (a fifteen.
